Canada February Inflation Rate Slows

What is the Worry?
This article is trying to strike terror into the hearts of Canadians by how inflation is slowing down and how the economic apocalypse is going to strike down on Canada. Even the title seems evident of this. If you read the article closer, there is more then meets the eye. The second sentence, which most people do not read in news articles, state that the price has fluctuated due to petroleum prices, a volatile good that is not used to measure the base inflation amount. This is even revealed in the article by Doug Porter, deputy chief economist at BMO Nesbitt Burns, if you ever read it that far. It is also stated that "core inflation came in exactly as expected at 1.7 percent".
