I may not believe in global warming, but I do believe that environmental groups manufacture "threats" to our environment to raise money from scared little old grannies. Environmental organizations are only interested in making money and will not think twice about lending their name in support of an initiative if there is enough money involved.

Expo Bid Still Dead, Finally

David Miller just a while ago announced that the Expo Bid was dead. Finally.
The reportage for the last day or so reminded me of Francisco Franco or a Monty Python skit, "But I'm Not Dead Yet!!"
Of course, Miller firmly placed the blame at the feet of the Federal and Provincial Governments for not coming up with the cash. A while ago John Lorinc described Miller as Lobbyist in Chief.
If that's his job we should stop paying his retainer.
Nothing is this guys fault - it's always the feds the province or the yanks.
And at the same time he's asking for more money, he's bragging about what he has already gotten, and insulting them for being cheap.
